This is just an FYI, but I would be curious to know if anyone else has had similar trouble. This weekend I was cleaning up downed tree limbs with my BX1500. When I was finished I switched the key to off, but it kept on running. Long frustrating story short, the main 30A fuse under the hood came loose causing loss of all electrical function, including the shutdown solenoid, without any notice. I believe the culprit is bad wire harness routing. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it and it is poorly secured. Love the machine, but I don't like surprises like that one.

All the bx tractors I seen had the wiring and fuse just hanging in front of the oil filter. The first thing I done was remove the cowl and tie them up. ....
